Excutive Order 20-72

Per State of Florida Executive Order 20-79 signed by Gov. Ron notes federal guidance from March 18, 2020 that “recommended providers limit all “non-essential” elective medical and surgical procedures, including dental procedures.”

“Accordingly,” the order asserts, “all health care practitioners licensed in the State of Florida, including dentists, shall immediately cease performing these non-essential elective services.”

Permissible procedures, meanwhile, include removal of cancerous tumors, transplants, limb-threatening vascular surgeries, trauma-related procedures, and dental care related to the relief of pain and management of infection.

Unfortunately this means that we will not be able to offer some of non-essential procedures such as cleanings, fluoride treatment, and mouth guards. However we still will be offering dental procedures for relief of pain and management of infection and emergency services.

We we also be changing our hours to Mon - Frid 8 am - 12 pm to give our team time to thoroughly clean patient areas such as waiting room and game room.

For patients with non-essential procedures scheduled during March 23, 2020 through May 8, 2020, we will be contacting you shortly to reschedule those procedures after May 8, 2020. Thank you so much for you patients and understand.
